I created this one for the March competition on Beading Friends Forever.  It's not the first time that I have tried spiral stitch but the first time I have completed it!

My favourite colours are blue and gold.

I really enjoyed doing this one (eventually!) I'm pleased with the results but needs a few more goes at it I think!
Thank you for looking! :D

Hi!  I'm Moe.
I live in Ripon, North Yorkshire, UK.  I am now 45, I have been married for 25  year and we have two children, a boy of 19 and a girl of 17, we have a totally insane dog called Bettie, a lovely cat called Tiger and two bearded dragons.

I discovered beading in October last year whilst watching a TV show about crafting..... The thought that went through my head was "I can do that" So, I Googled it here I am, 6 moths later!

The first thing I started was peyote stitching bracelets but soon went to bigger and better things!!

This was my very first attempt at beading!
I fell in love with the craft and am now hooked!

I re-made my first one (commissioned) and people asked for the second two!

Then I did these, the lower two were my first attempt at other stuff!

So, I then decided I could do bigger and better things!  I have sold quite a few of my jewellery pieces, I still can't believe people are willing to pay for them!  My dream is to try a stall!  Not sure I have the confidence to do that yet though!

I have joined a blog site called Beading Friends For ever, you can find it here: http://beadingfriendsforever.blogspot.co.uk/  on there they have monthly competions, this month they wanted your favourite colours and or Sprial stitch, I tried this stitch several times but really couldn't get the hang of it, but, I tried again and come up with this:
Once I got the hang of it, I was very pleased with the results!!
There are a few bits I think I could do better!

So, there we have it..........  My beading story............  So far!  :)
